Business Improvement District Voting
If your commercial property or business is located within the red line on the map below, you are eligible to have a say on the establishment of a Business Improvement District (BID) in Warkworth.
The process of voting in a BID establishment ballot is set out in the Auckland Council BID policy. The ballot is based on the principle of ‘one entity – one vote’/‘one person – one vote’, an entity being a ratepayer and/or a business/occupier. That means, there is one vote for one ratepayer or business irrespective of how many properties or businesses you own within the proposed BID area.
Independent Election Services Ltd is running the ballot and voting is done by post or online using a dedicated URL and code.

There are two lists of eligible voters:
- commercially rated property owners with the BID boundary
